This is an awful translation, I am sure... but apparently they have a FaceBook page on it

“European Bank Run on 7th December 2010"

The French want to break their banks by withdrawing their money on December 7th.

French activists call for a Europe-wide and joint account termination on 7 December 2010

the last few weeks has been enough protest. Since demonstrating in the street have brought
nothing we understand that the real power lies in the hands of international banks and corporations.

"Everyone should get his money from the account."

All citizens of the country resolve your accounts in cash. The activists suggest, one can first put the
money in a suitcase or invest it in a social bank.

"...you must have missed my post then lost in the blunderbust trolling going on there, though nice to see Eddies plan is gathering pace seeing it posted back again, and as I have said previously, nothing like direct action to make arrogant fuckers sit up and take notice as Eddie also says 'I learned a long time ago that bullies respond only to strength' ...Viva la revolution then..." as Jats regrets once more not moving to France when he had the chance

"...had your idealogical blinkers on then...sometimes you have to look at the uncomfortable details to see the bigger picture you know..." Jats smiles and hits c/thru with his metaphysical pillow just a touch too hard "...and the flaw here in England any-ways in Eddies plan I realise as I rack my brains here is, I am struggling to think of any 'social' banks that are left that have not been swallowed up by the corporates, all the building societies having long gone, though surely there are some left, and I'm sure I will find one then here in the shires, and this Christmas then, for us, it will be a Wonderful Life again..."

I hear that's the main complaint against playboy bigWink

anyways.... I like the idea of the protest, but I would not trust a Social bank, are they insured ? as if that would really matter, if push came ....
and I certainly would have no clue where to safely hide my 27 dollars and 43 cents

It is because the banks did not take away their savings. If it did, just like in 1929, the story, and blame, would have been a lot different.
