Ok...back story first :

A friend Tango had for over 30 years suddenly passed away and we went to the funeral and memorial
for most of yesterday ...

a few things left an impression on me, so I was watching some religious program late at night
and saw this guy ... he said some cool things, even though I am struggling to fully accept his style

I googled him just now as I take a little break from the textbooks ...
apparently he is some kind of rapping evangelist that appeals to the young,
although not all his songs are rap, just for the record

here's a sample of a hit song

anyways, he said something on the show about his theory that "LOVE was our innate vocation"

and I was in awe of the 6 string bass ? I think it's a bass ...gonna check into that later, I think I want one

another thing I wanted to share ...

The preacher spoke some biblical words at the service and for some reason, this particular one
almost made me cry
...I had to start counting all the perfectly squared bricks in the 30 foot backwall
to keep my composure

but I made a note on the program sheet so I could read more of the surrounding passages

this was the one :

Jeremiah 29 10 -14

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me,
and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me
with all your heart.
14 I will be found by you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring
you back from captivity.

just sharing Smile

certainly different from what I usually listen to...I like him...don't know why exactly...all good if he can attract young people
